Client case - Primark

Primark is a leading international clothing retailer employing more than 70,000 colleagues in 14 countries – and growing. Primark operates 20 stores in France, 11 in Italy and the Czech Republic was their 14th market opening with a flagship store in Prague in 2021.

Working with Primark was a test of Zeus’s ability to rapidly expand our service offering across multiple European countries. It has been a great opportunity to prove our flexibility, agility, and reliability for pan-international routes, helping connect Primark stores to their central distribution hub in The Netherlands.

We made the decision to partner with Zeus because we had some challenges in Italy meeting our Delivery on Time KPI, which is a key KPI in our business. We work with notice periods as short as 24-hours for spot loads for pan-European deliveries, so responsiveness is essential. We’ve been working with Zeus for four months now and the Zeus team is very responsive, knowledgeable and communication with the team is very fluid. While there is still more work to be done to expand the business to more European countries, I am positive Zeus can achieve this.

We continue to support Primark and hope to expand our service to include many more stores and countries. Using the Zeus proprietary platform as the backbone to our service, we provide instant scale with 13,000 trucks across UK and Europe, and live tracking with our Zeus Driver app.

Primark requires high performance on their core KPIs and takes advantage of the Zeus ability to provide fixed rates on both contract and spot (ad hoc or urgent single) deliveries.
